These were just two brief sorties after getting my German PPL validated by FAA in 2004. After taking my first U.S. biennial flight review with a friendly local instructor, I used the same aircraft for a local sightseeing flight with some friends. Really not all that much too see in this part of the world... except lots and lots of flat farmland. But still cool to be flying in Illinois, not very far from Champaign-Urbana, where the original SubLogic Flight Simulator was born (the great-grandfather of today's Microsoft Flight Simulator).
